So many people love goddessheart.com! What a thrill it is for me to see the stats climb month after month as more and more people discover the pages. And there have been some wonderful letters, from people from all over the world. I have been thinking for some time about putting some of the letters into a page for everyone to read, and maybe sometimes I will include my replies. So here it is. I won't be putting every letter into this forum though. To date I have only received one negative letter, from someone who clearly did not appreciate the spirit of our endeavor here. I won't include that letter here. Nor will I include all the wonderful positive letters. In most cases (but not all) I will keep the sender's name and email address anonymous. No need to make these kind hearts accessable to all the email spiders that lurk such forums.

The first letter here is a simple letter from my dear friend Robin, who I photographed five   years ago with her twin sister Shannon. We have corresponded ever since. As I say, it is a simple letter, but it goes to show the spirit of friendship that exists in the collaboration of goddessheart art.

Dearest RomTom,
Thankyou for sharing your incredible website!!!  And yes, it is too powerfull for the world, which is exactly why they should see it!!!  It belongs in a gallery!!!

You do great work, and I love you for it!!!

Love,
Robin

Today as I write it is Sunday afternoon, Oct 19, 2003. I just looked at the goddessheart.com stats for the month of October so far. Something seems rather interesting to me. Most people this month have viewed the art and poetry of goddessheart.com between the hours of 5 pm and 6 pm. Hmmm. That seems to indicate to me that there are quite a few people who get home from a hard day at work and go to their computer to ease their minds and put their spirits into a kinder space. If that is the case my heart is warmed to know this art of ours is healing you. The second greatest hour of usage is between 11 pm and 12 pm, which may meant some people are viewing the pages just before retiring for the evening. Sweet dreams my friends.

As most of you know, I only photograph my friends. I don't just photograph anyone. They have to possess the quality of compassion and goodness that I associate with goddess heart. They have to be wise, clear-minded, understanding people. Still there are those who do not know this or do not believe this. They do not know us.

Here is another letter:

" I was doing a search for Goddess Poetry and found your site. Music...mmmm.... I think I hear Loreena McInnitt, Enya, Windham Hill collection "Daughters of the Celtic Moon".

Here is another letter:

"What an awe inspiring project you're sharing with the world here. I've only made it part way through your site but will certainly return.

Here is another letter:

"knows me not, thinks you... 'tis true, our paths have crossed 'ere this day. And lo', what finds me this morn but your site, and I pause. Many have I met who enchant and dreamweave others, but I have nay to this day, found nor met, another who does so with the completeness as you, Ancient One. Frills and Wizardry enthrall the norm, with mine eyes, ears, and mind paying no heed, and such a cumbersome thing some days I lament. YOU!! YOU are blessed with such 'power' such magnificence, I halted mine own journey to lay adoration, compliments, and awestruck wonder at your benevolence. I thinkest not, nay, I knowest thou does not, CAN not, see the weight with what I offer you these kind words. Just know this, without a single word or touch or look or knowledge of me and my existence, your being put a long 'waited silence   to my mind and soul. Thank you, kind Ancient One, thank  you. One less stranger exists today, pray the Creator may see me fit to greet you and yours one day. hhhmmmmm.... smiles for me and I ask Devine Grace continued for you.

Here is another letter:

Hello, RomTom, I live in Portland and recently happened upon your photography site.  Wow.  I really like your work.  Beautiful girls with wide smiles and warm hearts.  You really capture their natural beauty in a way that is sensual without being leering.   You have amassed a real body of work over the past number of years!

I also went to the link to your Bike Bus site and enjoyed reading about your and Ellie’s travels throughout the country:  the ups and downs you have weathered as you have gone through life.  What an interesting story.  It really touches the heart.   Thank you for sharing your adventures with all of us on the World Wide Web.   You are a born story-teller, and you have lived a full life.  I thought it was nice that you put up the picture of the wedding you photographed (the wife who has since died) and the man whose dog ran away, and I enjoyed seeing some of the friends you have made around the country.  It was sad hearing about the government taking away your daughter.  My wife and I both hated to hear that, and we send you our love and hopes that one day you will be reunited with her.

Thanks again for the great websites,

Richard

Richard and I went on to exchange several letters.

Sorry I have been too busy with other projects to keep up this letter page. A full year has passed since I last added anything. But a very nice letter arrived today, Dec 5, 2004, and I will include it here:

RomTom,

Here: a small gift of thanks for the love and kinship given within your Goddessheart pages, in poem and image form.

Love and Light to you for sharing warmth, beauty, poetry, understanding, acceptance and love through your work. For making these things available globally where often they are hidden or denied.

My blessings to yourself, your kin, and your friends.

Goddess love you.
In Peace,
Hylas

Thanks Hylas...
